You will find a special package in your child's bag today for New Years - it is okay to BREAK it open over the counter :) The winter packet I sent home is worth a special surprise if it's completed and returned as well. Christmas Trees

Brr!

Fall is starting to feel true to it's season! Please feel free to send an extra jacket to keep here at school for your child in the event that they forget one in the morning. Also, if you haven't sent extra clothes in the event of an "accident" that are appropriate for colder weather, please do so as well and we will send the others home. Thanks for visiting!

Field Trip

Tomorrow we will be visiting the fire station to conclude our fire safety week. We plan to leave the elementary about 1:45. If you would like to accompany us on our walk, please plan on meeting us at the bench in front of the office at that time. I anticipate that we will be back by 3:00. Baby Pictures

Weekend

Signs of Fall

You may have noticed a baggie in your child's bag tonight. Please fill it with leaves, acorns, fall flowers, and any other "signs of fall" that you can. Please feel free to keep on sending signs of fall into the classroom as we will be putting them into our science center to explore. Thanks for visiting!

Fall Colors

Looks like we have a beautiful week ahead! Feel free to send "signs of fall/autumn" into the classroom as we learn about the changing of the seasons into fall/autumn. If you're out for a walk at home, point out all the different colors of fall with your child. Thanks for visiting!

Autumn Acres!

Tomorrow we will be heading on our first field trip of the year.... AUTUMN ACRES. Please be sure to wear tennis shoes and clothing that is okay to get dirty. It looks like the weather is going to be perfect for this trip as well! We will be leaving from the circle drive at 9:30 if you wish to follow the bus up. **Don't forget a sack lunch with a drink** as we will be eating at Stam's Greenhouse (at Autumn Acres). It's usually best to use paper sacks for lunches on field trips. Looking forward to seeing all of you there and having a great time :) Thanks for visiting!
